Stuff for Debate

DNA record keeping is not an invasion of privacy because DNA record keeping has many uses. DNA records can help scientists figure out problems in communities. For example, if a certain amount of people are being affected by something it can be shown through their DNA and if those records are kept scientists can find the gene that is causing the problem and they might be able to stop whatever is causing that problem. DNA record keeping can be used to catch criminals because when they have children their DNA can be traced to them to help find where criminals are. DNA also is no different than fingerprinting and photographs so it should not really be a problem to keep it on a database. It is kept private and no one can see it unless they are permitted, these databases are also guarded to make sure no one can steal the DNA records.

  1. This was well written. It's obvious you took some time writing this! I would like for you to explain maybe the process of DNA record keeping more.

  2. Good Job Jennifer!! You explained your debate well and you have all the right parts on here. Your allele traits are good. You gave detailed information about your debate, but i think you could have explained it more thoroughly, but other than that it is good.

  3. Hey you, this is actually pretty good. You had all the points that were necessary for the debate. I can't think of any improvements that I would make, other than making them flow together better.

  4. Your debate points were very well and proved your point. The only improvements i would suggest would be to add scientists testionals or experiments that porve how DNA is a positive thing just to elaborate your point better. I also agree with Cj on making your points flow better because reading was very chopping. Other than that it you had great points and ex[plained your topic very well.
